Five Towns Park, Yorkshire

SRA were engaged by Lateral Property Group to provide Development Management, Project Management and Quantity Surveying support services on this highly complex planning application. The scheme consists of a new out of town shopping park, new Rugby League Stadium for the Castleford Tigers, a new country park and significant external works in greenbelt land within the Wakefield District.

SRA were involved throughout the two-year planning process and played a key role in the co-ordination of the planning application, selection and appointment of the professional team, management of the overall cashflow for the application, design team meetings, technical meetings, negotiation of agreement for leases with anchor tenants (M&S, Primark, Next were secured). SRA chaired and minuted fortnightly Board Meetings at the client’s offices in London in order to maintain control and overview of progress of a significant number of work-streams taking place concurrently.
